This is an era where anyone can create great music—not just with instruments, but with imagination. Powered by a cutting-edge generative model, Suno enables anyone to turn their ideas into incredible music. At B-Reel, we partnered with Suno to introduce this Cambridge-based startup to the world, and worked alongside their growing team to design what’s next.

In this project, I was responsible for developing a cohesive brand system, including the visual identity, motion graphics, iconography, website, and social assets.

Challenge
Music is emotional, not rational. In tech-driven environments, rational messaging may drive short-term growth, but it's the emotional connections that foster long-term success and strengthen brand loyalty.

Solution
Rather than positioning Suno solely as a company that creates AI-generated music, our goal is to brand it as a platform that empowers everyone to freely express themselves through their own music.

Design
Playfulness, accessibility, and a human-centered approach are key to the brand. Visually, it combines clean, minimal graphics with playful expression. The new "S" mark, with its distinctive, quirky shape, anchors the identity, appearing in patterns, frames, and illustrative elements. It simultaneously evokes a sine wave, a musical note, and an egg.
On the website, an array of our favorite Suno tracks is arranged in a flower pattern, giving the site a nostalgic feel reminiscent of a radio tuner. This design bridges the innovative future of music-making with its rich past.

Outcome
The splash page we designed for Suno has received several prestigious awards, including the Red Dot Award for Web Design, the CSS Design Award for Best UX Design and Best Innovation, and the Webby Award for Best Homepage.
